From Fast to Formal - Walt Disney World Dining
With almost two dozen resort areas, dining options range from budget to luxury. From breakfast buffet to formal dinners, Walt Disney World dining has something for every member of the family.
Disney World Resorts are categorized into four price points: Value, Moderate, Deluxe, and the Deluxe Villas. Dining in each category will reflect the price point of each resort and will range from fast take-out to formal dining.
The Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts include Animal Kingdom Lodge, Beach Club, BoardWalk, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa, and Wilderness Lodge. Each resort has at least two restaurants, while some have more. Each resort is themed after a different city or region from around the world and dining experiences will reflect the resort's theme. Guests can expect to pay more for meals in the Deluxe Villa Resort areas.
In the Deluxe Resort area, guests will find themes such as the Grand Floridian that features casual and signature dining experiences. 1900 Park Fare is a casual restaurant where Disney characters roam freely to interact with families.
Other Deluxe Resorts include the Contemporary, Polynesian, Yacht Club, World Dolphin and World Swan.
Moderately priced Walt Disney Resorts offer middle of the road pricing, with quality food and service. Sumptuous Walt Disney World dining in these resorts will be noticeably less than Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts. This is a wonderful Caribbean themed area that features the following resorts: Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans French Quarter and Port Orleans Riverside.
Finally, the Value resorts feature the most affordable Walt Disney World dining options. The dining in this resort area can be found at the food court, but guests can order in-room pizza delivery, as well.
